What is the Birthday Book Club?
The Birthday Book Club is a fundraiser for the library. The donations go toward the purchase of new books for the library.

With each $5 donation a Birthday Book Club book plate, like the one shown here, will be printed with your child's name, date of birth, and school year printed on it.

By October of each school year students will begin receiving their birthday book plates. At that time, June - October birthday book plates are distributed first. For the remaining November - May birthdays, book plates will be given during or near the month of your child's birthday.

When your child receives his book plate, the librarian will permanently place it inside a new library book he has chosen to check-out. During your child's two-week checkout period he will get to take the book home to share and read with the family.

What is the deadline for donating to the Birthday Book Club?
Most Birthday Book Club donations are made at the beginning of the school year, but the librarian will accept donations anytime during the school year. Cash or checks accepted. Please make checks payable to: CES
